For standard windows up to 36 inches in height, the price includes the home visit, measuring, building, fit and finish, and installation.

THE BEAUTY OF REAL WOOD
Natural wood has a life of its own.
These shutters are made from real wood, including cedar and reclaimed wood. All available finishes can be selected with either wood type. Wood is a natural material. As it weathers, it can crack, bow, bend, or change over time. Those characteristics are part of working with real wood and its rustic character—not a promise that every board will stay perfectly straight or unchanged.

Windows taller than 36 inches need an in-person evaluation. Pete will assess the size and discuss whether the project can be accommodated and whether additional pricing applies.

A LITTLE ABOUT PETE
A New Chapter,
Built by Hand.
For 41 years, my life revolved around the kitchen. Being a chef taught me discipline, patience, attention to detail, and the satisfaction that comes from taking raw ingredients and turning them into something made with care. It was a big part of my life, and I take a lot of pride in those years.
But woodworking has been part of me for much longer. I started working with wood when I was just 15 years old. There's something special about taking a piece of raw wood, working with your hands, and creating something that wasn't there before. That love never left me.
Now I'm beginning a new chapter with Wood Shutters by Pete. I'm bringing together the things I've always valued: hard work, craftsmanship, attention to detail, and doing things the right way. Every set of shutters is built by me, for a real home and a real family. I'll meet with you, measure your windows, build your shutters, and install them myself. It's personal because my name is on the work.
My faith is an important part of who I am and how I approach this next chapter. I believe we're meant to use the gifts we've been given, work honestly, and take pride in what we put our hands to.
